Well, the first cement truck didn’t arrive until 12:40, so there was a lot of waiting around this morning.\u00a0 It turns\u00a0out because we are not starting any noisy activities until after 8:00 AM, in deference to the neighbors, that when we order the cement truck for 9 AM, we really only get trucks that have finished with the jobs that ordered it for 7 AM. But at the end of the day, they got all the walls poured.<\/p>\n

The first picture shows a long view of pouring the cement into the wall cavity for part of the garage. The second shows a closeup.\u00a0 And the third shows another person who goes around after a layer of cement has been poured in\u00a0and uses a vibrating rod to cause the cement to go down and fill all of the holes and get rid of any bubbles.\u00a0 Not only does the device vibrate, but as it touches any rebar, the vibration of the rebar helps force bubbles out.
